LIVE! From the Bottom of New York Harbor

Please join us to explore life underwater in New York State's newest estuarine sanctuary, the 'lands underwater' of Hudson River Park. Come and watch divers filming live from under Pier 40 and see recent footage of how the animals live in the habitats off Manhattan Island. Clay Hiles, Executive Director of the Hudson River Foundation, is Master of Ceremonies, leading an exploration of the diversity and health of the populations, migrations and mating. We will also review findings from The River Project and other sponsored research, including data on the return of oysters to the harbor, sounds associated with particular fish species, and data from our sensors linked to the NY Harbor Observing and Prediction System.

For complete information on the event, see the underwater invitation.

To RSVP and for more information, please call our office at 212-233-3030.
